Job Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practices by using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, in accordance with regulations.

Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance. Resolves issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items and trade-up or companion products.
• Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges. Assists customers in locating products.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, manages inventory, and records keeping.
• Supports pharmacy duties such as entering patient data, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and assisting with workflow scheduling.
• Reports prescription errors immediately and complies with pharmacy policies, including the Pharmacy Code of Conduct and Good Faith Dispensing.
• Handles non-urgent phone calls, processes third-party claims, and performs clerical duties as assigned.
• Supports inventory management activities and maintains knowledge of asset protection techniques.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
• Constructs and maintains displays, completes resets, and assists with product placement and stock rotation.
• Provides customer service in the photo area and manages web pick-up responsibilities.
• Maintains store cleanliness and appearance, and fosters respectful coworker relationships.
• Completes special assignments as needed.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.

Additional Requirements

• Must be fluent in English (excluding Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
