Customer Experience
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy, etc.) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied, etc.).
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
- Recommends items for sale and suggests trade-up or companion products.
- Handles cashier duties, including registering sales, collecting cash, processing returns, refunds, and exchanges, and assisting customers in locating products.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, manages inventory, and assists with pricing and stocking merchandise.
- Supports pharmacy operations by entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting pharmacists with workflow and scheduling.
- Reports prescription errors immediately and follows company policies regarding pharmacy safety and quality standards.
- Handles non-urgent phone calls, processes third-party claims, and performs clerical duties as assigned.
- Supports inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, checking shipments, and maintaining proper storage and stock rotation.
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products like tobacco and alcohol.
- Constructs and maintains displays, completes resets and revisions, and assists with product placement and store maintenance.
- Provides photo services, manages web order pickups, and supports store appearance and cleanliness.
- Adheres to all company policies and maintains positive relationships with coworkers.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
- Stays informed about healthcare and pharmacy developments.
Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
