Customer Service and Sales
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
Pharmacy Assistance
- Assists the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy practice, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions.
Customer Engagement
- Greet customers and patients, offer assistance, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
- Recommend items, process transactions, and assist customers in locating products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, manage inventory, and perform pricing and stocking duties.
- Support pharmacy operations, including entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and assisting with workflow.
- Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to pharmacy policies, including Good Faith Dispensing and the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
- Handle telephone inquiries, process third-party claims, and support inventory management activities.
- Ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products and maintain store displays and product placement as directed.
- Assist with food and product stock management, store system and equipment operation, and customer service in the photo area.
- Manage web order pickups and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintain PTCB certification and participate in training and continuing education to stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.
Additional Requirements
- Must be fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
