Responsibilities

• Create an environment welcoming customers and answer questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond with suggestions.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of Drug GM specials.
• Recommend Drug GM items to customers.
• Review sell-by dates and take appropriate action.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude.
• Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads.
• Reinforce safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
• Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and notifying the manager of repairs.
• Notify management of accidents or safety risks or illegal activity.
• Ability to work in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a professional manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
