Responsibilities
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
Customer Experience
- Engages customers and patients, offers assistance, resolves issues, and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
- Recommends products and manages transactions, including voids, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintains store cleanliness, inventory, and displays, and supports pharmacy operations such as prescription filling, inventory management, and compliance with laws.
Training & Personal Development
- Earns and maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
Minimum Qualifications
- Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, knowledge of inventory control, and PTCB certification preferred.
