Job summary

Walgreens in West Caldwell, NJ is seeking a frontline team member to deliver a distinctive customer experience while handling checkout and assisting the pharmacist under supervision. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient information, process prescriptions, and help ensure accurate dispensing in accordance with regulations.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, recommending products, maintaining clean shelves, handling inventory, and supporting pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.
• Good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and handles transactions.
• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing and patient information entry.
• Provide courteous, friendly service and help customers with products.
• Maintain counters and shelves, keep merchandise well merchandised, and assist with inventory.
• Support pharmacy operations, including entering patient and drug information and processing prescriptions.
