Job summary

Walgreens in South Orange, NJ seeks a TEAM member to support pharmacy operations and provide excellent customer service. Under direct supervision, you will assist the pharmacist, handle prescription processing, and ensure accurate patient information in the pharmacy systems.

You will also process transactions, manage inventory, and help customers with products and services. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Good computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, fair, and efficient checkout service at the cash register.
• Assist pharmacist under direct supervision using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information; check for interactions; maintain workflow.
• Accept returns, exchanges, and handle clerical duties; assist with inventory.
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising; support pharmacy operations and inventory.
• Assist with photo area services and web pick-up duties as needed.
• Adhere to company policies; support quality improvement and drug dispensing standards.
