Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail or Walgreens is preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with store systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is advantageous.
• PTCB certification is preferred.
• Experience with Walgreens systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly checkout service and assist customers at the register.
• Assist pharmacists under supervision when processing prescriptions and obtaining patient/drug information.
• Enter and verify prescription data, check for possible interactions, and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandise shelves, and inventory records.
• Handle clerical pharmacy tasks and support workflow in the Pharmacy Department.
