Job summary

Walgreens in Chattanooga is seeking a Customer Service / Pharmacy Clerk to support the pharmacy and store teams. You will assist pharmacists, manage transactions at the register, and help customers find products while upholding safety and accuracy standards.

You will engage customers with a friendly attitude, participate in inventory and merchandising tasks, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Evening and weekend shifts may be required, with on-site roles at our store locations.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of retail experience and Walgreens familiarity.
• PTCB certification preferred; maintain through training.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescription filling.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Register purchases, handle cash and returns as needed.
• Assist pharmacists and maintain pharmacy workflow.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Check for drug interactions and report prescription issues.
• Maintain store displays and stock; assist with inventory.
