Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist under direct supervision with pharmacy tasks and patient information in systems.
• Engages customers and patients, greets them, and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Performs inventory, pricing, display setup, and merchandising tasks as directed.
• Handles prescription processing, including entering patient and drug information and assisting workflow.
• Maintains store cleanliness and maintains respectful coworker relationships.
• Supports pharmacy department on inventory management and regulatory compliance.
