Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in processing prescriptions and providing friendly, efficient service at the register and with customers. Under supervision, you will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, assist with inventory and merchandising, and help maintain compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling cash register tasks, assisting with prescription fulfillment, and supporting pharmacy

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy; uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provides customer service in-store, assists with product placement and displays, and supports inventory management.
• Performs tasks as assigned by Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist, including entering data, filling prescriptions, and processing third-party claims.
• Adheres to company policies, practices Good Faith Dispensing, and participates in Quality Improvement.
