Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for accuracy in filling prescriptions.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Provides customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale and trade-up/companion items.
• Processes prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceuticals and verifying interactions.
• Assists pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty per company policy.
• Handles non-urgent pharmacy calls and supports clerical duties as needed.
• Maintains store counters and shelves, merchandising, pricing, and inventory records.
• Provides customer service in the photo area and assists with web pick-up orders.
