Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists under supervision and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail setting. You will use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions, handle cash transactions at the register, and help maintain inventory and storefront standards.

The role requires English fluency, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and basic math skills. Prior Walgreens experience and PTCB certification are advantageous for applicants.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work evenings and weekend hours.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for dispensing and counting medications.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medicines under supervision.
• Enter patient and drug information using pharmacy systems.
• Process prescriptions, verify medicine, and check for interactions.
• Provide courteous, friendly checkout service and help customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize inventory.
• Handle third-party prescription claims and clerical duties.
• Assist OTC, photo area, and other duties as assigned.
