Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacy support role in which you will provide friendly customer service, assist the pharmacist, and help manage prescriptions and store operations. The position requires flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends, with opportunities to learn within a retail pharmacy environment.

You will engage customers, help with product locations, and support inventory and claims processing as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math and computer skills.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision with entering patient and drug information and processing prescriptions.
• Engages customers and patients, greets them and assists with products and services.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised, checks in and prices merchandise as directed.
• Performs duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist, including inventory management and assisting in workflow.
