Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math, counting, measuring and weighing medications preferred.
• Good computer skills and basic store systems knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience at checkout.
• Registers sales on the assigned cash register and provides courteous service.
• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions.
• Provide customer assistance across departments and service areas.
• Maintain clean and merchandised counters and stock; take inventory and price merchandise.
• Assist with pharmacy duties including entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and checking for interactions.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist and comply with company policies.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and clerical duties as assigned; support inventory management.
• Adhere to Good Faith Dispensing policies and maintain respectful coworker relationships.
