Walgreens is seeking a team member to provide courteous, efficient service at the register and assist the pharmacist with prescription processing under supervision. You will interact with customers to resolve questions and help locate products while maintaining store standards.

The role emphasizes accurate handling of transactions, upselling where appropriate, and collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure safe medication dispensing and patient service.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale to customer and recommends trade-up and/or companion items.
• Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register, collects cash and distributes change as requested; processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Assists pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow.
• Reports prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adheres to Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
• Constructs and maintains displays and completes resets and revisions as directed.
• Maintains knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
• Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service.
• Assumes web pick-up responsibilities and delivers orders to customers.
