Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused team member to provide friendly checkout service and assist the pharmacist under supervision. You will use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions, while keeping counters clean and merchandised as part of daily duties.

The role supports pharmacy workflow and ensures accuracy in transactions and patient information. Willingness to work evenings/weekends, plus prior retail experience and basic math/computer skills, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math and computer skills; knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at checkout.
• Registers sales, processes payments, returns, refunds and exchanges.
• Assists pharmacist under supervision, uses pharmacy systems to process prescriptions.
• Maintains clean, merchandised counters and shelves; assists with inventory.
• Supports pharmacy workflow, enters patient and drug information, checks for interactions.
• Adheres to company policies and the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
