WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking a Pharmacy Delivery Courier to transport prescriptions, reports and supplies to WVU Medicine patients and staff in a timely and accurate manner. You will work under the supervision of the pharmacist and support outpatient retail & specialty pharmacy operations at the Morgantown location.

Responsibilities include verifying recipient identity, maintaining HIPAA privacy, and ensuring proper handling and storage of medications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.

Responsabilités

• Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations to limit drug diversion and verify patient identification.
• Assists and delivers packaged pharmaceuticals, supplies and equipment in a timely, safe and accountable manner.
• Collaborates with pharmacy staff to collect prescription and patient information prior to dispensing.
• Maintains patient privacy according to HIPAA and secures PHI and medications during transport.
• Restocks delivery and shipping supplies and notifies purchasing when needed.
• Weekend call may be required.
