Option Care Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I to support compounding operations in a clean room, under a licensed pharmacist. You will help prepare medications, assist with dispensing, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires high school completion, state licensing/registration if required, and strong attention to detail. Salary range is provided, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a large home infusion provider operating nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if state requires).
• Basic to intermediate math and calculations skills.
• Ability to perform basic organizational tasks and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications per policies and state regulations.
• Prepare medications for accurate compounding.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations for dosages.
• Label and package medications accurately.
• Record and maintain pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
• Assist with reporting medication related incidents and equipment checks.
