Job summary

ShopRite in Plainview, NY seeks a Pharmacy Clerk to deliver a great customer experience within the Pharmacy Department. You will assist with cash register operations, patient service, stocking, and maintaining a clean work environment to support efficient department operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to proficiently use computer hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service in the pharmacy area.
• Ring prescriptions and collect proper payment with accurate change.
• Follow State and Federal drug laws and HIPAA requirements.
• Organize and stock pharmaceuticals, assist customers with OTC products.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support pharmacists as needed.
