Job summary

Hy-Vee in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to support daily pharmacy operations, assist customers, stock supplies and process cash transactions. You will help prepare prescriptions under pharmacist supervision and maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months to 1 year of related experience, and vaccination certification if administering vaccines, with a fast-paced, team-focused setting and strict confidentiality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Over six months up to one year of similar or related experience preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the pharmacy counter.
• Stock and organize supplies; process cash transactions accurately.
• Gather patient information to prepare prescriptions under supervision.
• Log invoices and review product invoices; maintain pharmacy cleanliness.
• Coordinate with pharmacists on vaccines where applicable and required.
• Protect patient confidentiality and assist in other duties as needed.
