Job summary

ShopRite of Waretown is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to deliver excellent customer service and support the Pharmacy Department. You will operate the cash register, assist customers with prescriptions, verify information, and help with stocking and cleaning to ensure efficient department operation.

The role requires the ability to read and communicate in English, basic math skills, and the physical ability to stand for long periods. Lifting up to 50 lbs and working varied shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must maintain proper state licensing or certifications.
• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret English.
• Ability to perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Ring prescriptions and handle sales accurately.
• Collect proper payment and provide correct change.
• Maintain Pharmacy Department security and HIPAA compliance.
• Keep work area clean and organized; stock pharmaceuticals as directed.
