Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraud.
• Comply with safety and sanitation regulations and programs; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management.
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated.
• Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer waiting areas.
• Follow guidelines on inventory management, control, and ordering of non-legend drugs.
• Complete all aspects of inventory control, including shelf maintenance.
• Answer phone and triage calls and inquiries.
• Promote sales and services to customers and store associates.
• Follow guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons, cash shortages, and shrink guidelines.
• Operate the cash register and cashier policies for transactions.
• Provide stellar customer experience during release to patient and product dispensing where state law allows.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Support company health and wellness initiatives.
• Able to work cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Able to manage conflict professionally.
• Able to act with honesty and integrity regarding information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
• Provide support with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
