Job Description

Provide exceptional customer service to help people live healthier lives by treating our customers/employees in a fair and ethical manner, providing a safe, clean, inclusive environment, and being a responsible member of the community. Offer the right products, services, and care at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Provide direct patient intervention by offering health and wellness services consistent with state and federal laws. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Support company health and wellness initiatives
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain current registration, certification, or license as required by state
• Assist pharmacists in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgement
• Provide excellent customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing
• Support coaching and training of clerks and technicians
• Compound medications according to regulations
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription accuracy
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and resources
• Conduct CLIA-waived screenings in compliance with laws and policies
• Provide additional health and wellness services as permitted
• Follow sanitation and safety regulations, report unsafe conditions
• Report illegal activities such as theft or fraud
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

Minimum

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Current registration, certification, or licensure

Desired

• Previous relevant experience
• Experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent
