Job Description

Provide exceptional customer service to help people live healthier lives by treating our customers/employees in a fair and ethical manner, providing a safe, clean, inclusive environment, and being a responsible community member. Provide the right products, services, and care at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Support direct patient intervention by delivering health and wellness services in accordance with state and federal laws. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Support company health and wellness initiatives
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain current registration, certification, or license as required by state law
• Assist the pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment
• Provide excellent customer service, accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing tasks
• Support coaching and training of clerks and technicians
• Compound medications following state and other regulations
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription accuracy
• Support non-dispensing health services using various platforms and resources
• Conduct CLIA-waived screenings in compliance with laws and policies
• Provide additional health and wellness services as permitted by law
• Follow sanitation, safety, and health regulations; report unsafe conditions
• Report illegal activities such as theft or fraud
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

Minimum

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Current registration, certification, or licensure as required

Desired

• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting or as a pharmacy technician
