Job summary

TAS Drug in Maiden is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Cashier who will be the patient’s primary point of contact at the pharmacy. You’ll provide friendly, efficient service, and handle prescriptions with accuracy while maintaining a professional appearance.

Responsibilities include ringing up prescriptions, bagging for pickup, intake of new prescriptions, answering phones, assisting customers on the sales floor, and prioritizing data entry.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Must have a clean background check & drug screen.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Flexible schedule; 25-29 hours per week.
• Neat and professional appearance required in health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Ring out processed prescriptions for pickup at the point-of-sale.
• Bag prescriptions for customer pickup later.
• Intake new prescriptions from walk-in and drive-through customers.
• Answer phone as workflow permits.
• Assist customers on the sales floor.
• Maintain priority of prescriptions for data entry and basket color.
