Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Develops strong relationships with most valuable customers.
• Recommends items for sale, assists with OTC products, and takes customers to the aisle when possible.
• Operates pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, checks in and prices merchandise, and maintains records.
• Implements asset protection procedures and ensures compliance with state/local laws regarding regulated products.
• Completes displays, resets, and maintains store condition; assists with exterior and interior maintenance.
• Complies with company policies and completes special assignments as assigned.
