Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused team member in California to greet customers, assist with products, and provide efficient checkout service. You will operate the cash register, process returns, and suggest items while helping customers find OTC products. Maintain clean displays and adhere to store policies.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required. Prior Walgreens experience and strong English communication are preferred to deliver a delightful customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services.
• Operate cash register and process sales, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Recommend items and assist with OTC products; escort to aisles when possible.
• Maintain counters and shelves; keep displays clean and merchandised.
• Report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and follow Quality Improvement procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and aid asset protection.
• Attend training sessions and complete requested training modules.
