Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Develops strong relationships with valuable customers.
• Recommends items for sale and assists with OTC products; takes customers to aisles when possible.
• Operates pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised; checks in and prices merchandise as directed.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss and ensures compliance with state/local laws on regulated products.
• Constructs and maintains displays, completes resets, and handles special assignments.
