Qualifications

• Six months experience in a pharmacy technician role.

• Active Valid Pharmacy Technician License and CA certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and enter prescriptions into the computer system with dose calculations.
• Accept proper insurance payments in a timely fashion.
• Route incomplete or unclear prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification.
• Enter information after clarification and process prescriptions accordingly.
• Assist with inbound calls, interact with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Verify insurance coverage, perform benefit investigations and process orders.
