Job summary

CVS Health in California is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within the store. Technicians are often the first point of contact to assist patients and customers, ensuring prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately, while providing caring service that exceeds expectations.

Upon hire, you will complete a rigorous company training program and meet state licensing and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and licensure.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with prescription fulfillment and patient service.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety.
• Support immunization services where allowed by law.
• Complete inventory and cycle counts.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed by the business.
• Maintain compliance with CVS policies and regulations.
• Deliver other tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
