Job description

Location: Minneapolis, MN, USA

Salary: $20.00 USD Hourly - $23.00 USD Hourly

Job Title: Remote Pharmacy Technician

Location: Remote

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST, with a closing shift (11:30 AM – 8:00 PM CST) every other week and every 8th Friday.

Job Description: The Remote Pharmacy Technician will support a variety of clinical services, including Adherence, Diabetes, Fraud Waste & Abuse, Medication Therapy Management, PolyPharmacy, Retrospective Drug Utilization, and STARS adherence programs. As part of a dynamic team comprising clinical pharmacists, clinical nurses, certified pharmacy technicians, and customer service representatives, you'll play an essential role in operational success.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule pharmacist consultations for participants in clinical programs.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Accurately document provider feedback and manage incoming fax queues.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service on inbound and outbound calls.
  • Collaborate in department meetings and contribute to process improvement.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing for team-related projects.
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Operations Team Manager.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience working remotely or independently in a cross-functional team.
  • Current pharmacy technician license in the state of residence.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Preferred:

  • Prior call center experience.
  • Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
  • Bilingual in Cantonese, Korean, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, or Vietnamese (medical terminology proficiency).
  • Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience.
