Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for filling prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at checkout and supports pharmacy activities.
• Recommends items for sale and assists with trade-up/companion items.
• Registers purchases, handles cash, returns, refunds, exchanges, and assists customers to locate products.
• Supports pharmacy team by entering patient and drug information and assisting with prescription processing.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised; participates in inventory and price checks.
• Assists with inventory management, order processing, and handling pharmacy-related claims.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws and Walgreens policies; assists with prescription verification and potential interactions.
• Supports separation of food items and stock rotation; maintains store displays and seasonal promotions.
