Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to serve as the single point of contact for specialty pharmacy patients in an outpatient clinic setting. You will assess patient needs, coordinate refills, and help with insurance and copay challenges while monitoring adherence and communicating with the care team.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of pharmacy technician experience, be registered with the state, and share a commitment to compassionate, collaborative care.

Qualifications

• State licensure/registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required
• Nationally certified as a CPhT is preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for specialty pharmacy patients; assess needs and provide support with every refill
• Coordinate drug delivery and address insurance and copay challenges
• Monitor adherence and resolve issues across the care continuum with clinical pharmacy, prescriber and clinic staff

Education

High School Diploma or GED

2-5 years pharmacy technician experience
