Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead and manage daily pharmacy operations, ensure compliant dispensing, and deliver exceptional patient care. You will oversee staff performance, implement training, and drive strategic opportunities with store leadership.

Qualifications

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D; current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, and insurance billing.
Experience with pharmacy software and technology systems; leadership and performance management experience.

Responsibilities

Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy; refers to medical provider as needed.
Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
Ensures regulatory compliance and efficient pharmacy workflow; oversees staffing and scheduling.
Collaborates with Store Manager to develop strategic opportunities; manages performance and training.
