The Kroger Co. is hiring a Pharmacy Professional in Jackson, Mississippi to fulfill prescription needs with accuracy and provide excellent patient counseling. You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain stock and security, and uphold Kroger's service standards to create a safe, welcoming pharmacy environment.

Candidates should have a pharmacy degree and at least one year of retail experience, plus strong math and communication skills. A second language is preferred to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy is required.
• Ability to handle stressful situations is required.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition and subtraction) is required.
• 1 year of retail experience is required.
• Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing) is required.

Responsabilités

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with high accuracy.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care to customers.
• Ensure pharmacies comply with local, state and federal laws including HIPAA.
• Maintain professional image and adhere to company standards.
• Understand trade area, customers and competition.
• Maintain stock, records, inventory, security, and compliance per policy.
• Maintain and monitor scheduled drugs and proper handling of pharmacy products.
• Ensure accuracy tools and post-dispensing audits are used.
• Establish and maintain records for legal compliance and reporting.
