Job summary

PharMerica in Longmont, CO is seeking a Client Billing Associate to join our team. This on-site role moves from retail to an office environment where you will learn claims, billing and insurance processing for long-term care clients.

Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred; we offer a non-retail/closed-door environment, competitive pay, flexible schedules, benefits, dailyPay and opportunities for career advancement. Schedule: Monday - Friday; commutable distance to Longmont preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service or financial services.
• Third party billing or collections experience in healthcare is preferred.
• Flexibility, decisiveness, tenacity and problem solving under deadlines are required.
• Ability to be inventive and analytical is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret contract documents to ensure billing is performed in compliance with all contract terms.
• Process changes in information systems to support accurate and efficient billing and financial close.
• Facilitate and ensure accurate and timely billing of services and fees to facility clients.
• Complete interim statement review to ensure charges are accurate.
• Participate in month-end closing and audits as necessary.
• Provide customer support via phone or electronic communications.
• Support other departments, such as Census, when volumes or needs dictate.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
