Job summary

PharMerica, a closed-door non-retail pharmacy serving long-term care and senior living clients, is seeking a Client Billing Associate. The role focuses on interpreting contracts and ensuring accurate billing to facility clients within a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

The position emphasizes processing changes, month-end close participation, and providing customer support while collaborating with Census and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service or financial services is required; ability to problem solve under deadlines.
• Experience with third-party billing or healthcare billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret contract documents to ensure billing complies with terms.
• Process changes in information systems to support accurate billing and close.
• Make timely and accurate charges to facility clients and perform interim statement reviews.
• Participate in month-end close and audits as needed.
• Provide customer support via phone or electronic communications.
• Support other departments such as Census when volumes require.
• Work under general supervision and perform other duties as assigned.
