Job summary

Travel to multiple MetroHealth sites is required, with collaboration across Information Systems and Facilities to install or expand units, while upholding MetroHealth's mission and patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) verified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• 1 year end-user experience with pharmacy automation.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willing and able to travel to sites throughout The MetroHealth System.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Shift: 8a-5p

Summary

Supports the day-to-day operations of the hospital’s automated pharmacy dispensing systems. Provides user support, performs maintenance activities and troubleshooting, and monitors proper functionality and use of the system. Coordinates the installation of new units or the expansion of the system with the appropriate hospital departments, such as Information Systems and Facilities. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

• Prior experience with Epic EMR.
• Proficiency with MS Excel.

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
