Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) verified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• 1 year end-user experience with pharmacy automation.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willing and able to travel to sites throughout The MetroHealth System as needed.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Supports the day-to-day operations of the hospital's automated pharmacy dispensing systems.
• Provides user support, performs maintenance activities and troubleshooting, and monitors proper functionality and use of the system.
• Coordinates the installation of new units or the expansion of the system with the appropriate hospital departments, such as Information Systems and Facilities.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
