Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician who will support the day-to-day operations of the hospital's automated dispensing system and provide essential user support and maintenance. You will coordinate installations with Information Systems and Facilities and ensure the system runs reliably to meet patient care needs.

Shift: 8a-5p

Summary

Supports the day-to-day operations of the hospital's automated pharmacy dispensing systems. Provides user support, performs maintenance activities and troubleshooting, and monitors proper functionality and use of the system. • 3 years of experience as Pharmacy Technician in an acute care setting.
• 1 year of experience with managing pharmacy automation products.
• Prior experience with Epic EMR. Proficiency with MS Excel.

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
• May sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift or push at least 50lbs.
• Ability to use computer.
• Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
