Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support the hospital's automated dispensing systems. You will provide user support, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to keep the system running smoothly across multiple sites.

You'll coordinate installations or expansions with Information Systems and Facilities, travel to different MetroHealth locations as needed, and contribute to a culture of safety, accuracy, and excellent patient care throughout the

Qualifications

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) verified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
1 year end-user experience with pharmacy automation.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Willing and able to travel to sites throughout The MetroHealth System as needed.
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Supports the day-to-day operations of the hospital's automated pharmacy dispensing systems.
Provides user support, performs maintenance activities and troubleshooting, and monitors proper functionality and use of the system.
Coordinates the installation of new units or the expansion of the system with appropriate hospital departments, such as Information Systems and Facilities.
Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
