Froedtert South, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Automation Technology Specialist to support hospital operations through advanced automation, informatics, and technology-assisted workflows at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital.

You will lead the deployment and maintenance of automated dispensing technology and serve as the main trainer for pharmacy techs in technology-enabled workflows. The role requires hospital pharmacy technician experience, familiarity with pharmacy information systems, and an

Qualifications

Associate degree in a related technical field is preferred or equivalent.
Hospital pharmacy technician experience with automated dispensing technology is required.
Current Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license is required.
Strong computer skills and pharmacy information system experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated dispensing systems.
Maintain automated dispensing system formularies and EHR integrations.
Monitor dispensing cabinet performance and generate reports.
Support medication-use surveillance, audits, and investigations linked to automation.
Implement and maintain pharmacy technology systems including software for compounding, inventory, and dispensing.
Collaborate with informatics pharmacists on reporting, training, and billing tasks.
Serve as a primary trainer for technicians on technology-assisted workflows.
Work with IT, vendors, and leadership to resolve technology issues.
