Job summary

RB Continuum, Inc (RBCI) is seeking a Pharmacy Equipment Specialist to support operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of pharmacy automation and medication dispensing systems within military healthcare environments at Fort Detrick, MD. The role requires hands-on knowledge of automated dispensing cabinets and related packaging and inventory systems.

The ideal candidate has pharmacy operations experience, is a U.S. citizen, and can obtain a NACI clearance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's Degree in Pharmacy Technology, Healthcare Technology Management, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or related field preferred.
Minimum four (4) years of experience supporting pharmacy operations or healthcare technology.
Experience with pharmacy automation and dispensing systems (Omnicell, Pyxis, ScriptPro, Parata, ADCs).
Ability to troubleshoot equipment, software, and workflows and coordinate actions with vendors and IT/pharmacy staff.

Responsibilities

Support operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pharmacy automation and dispensing equipment.
Provide technical and functional support for ADCs, packaging systems, and inventory management solutions.
Coordinate installation, relocation, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and service with vendors and facility personnel.
Assist staff with equipment operation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution.
Document issues, maintenance actions, and corrective actions; track lifecycle status.
