Job summary

Goldbelt Apex is seeking a Senior Biomedical and Equipment Inventory/Accountability Technician to support NMRC/BDRD at Fort Detrick, Frederick, MD. The role emphasizes maintenance of biomedical and research equipment, inventory accountability, and compliance with DMLSS/NAVMED P-5132 requirements.

The technician will conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, electrical safety inspections, and document maintenance activities in the designated systems.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of biomedical and medical/research equipment maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of preventive and scheduled maintenance, inspection, calibration, equipment testing, and electrical safety procedures.
• Knowledge of medical/research equipment inventory and property accountability processes.
• Ability to accurately document equipment maintenance, service history, inventory status, and accountability activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform biomedical and medical/research equipment maintenance, inventory, and accountability duties.
• Review purchasing packages for new or replacement equipment and provide technical feedback.
• Monitor warranties and maintenance agreements in DMLSS or related systems.
• Inspect equipment to ensure safety standards and manufacturer specs.
• Provide operator training when new equipment is received.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain records in DMLSS and related modules.
