Job summary

ProAct, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Order Fulfillment Assistant to support technicians and staff in processing, filling and shipping medication orders.

You will help with inventory control, station replenishment and ensuring accuracy of each dispensed item in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, some pharmacy experience preferred, and strong communication, organization and customer service skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field.
  • Preferred hospital or retail pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

  • Pull drugs and match NDC to prescription labels when filling prescriptions.
  • Check and inspect incoming medication orders for accuracy.
  • Assist in upkeep and cleanliness of each work station and the facility.
  • Ensure proper and accurate filling of each individual order.
  • Contact customers on outgoing express shipments and address verification.
  • Maintain production levels as directed by supervisor.
  • Maintain quality assurances of all dispensings.
  • Assist other areas of the pharmacy as needed daily.
  • May assist in orienting and training new employees.
  • Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary: Assist technicians and various support staff in the order fulfillment process. Assist in inventory control and station replenishment.

Job Duties:

  • Pull drugs and match NDC to prescription labels when filling prescriptions
  • Check and inspect incoming medication orders for accuracy
  • Responsible to assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of each work station and the facility
  • Responsible for the proper and accurate filling of each individual order
  • Contacts customers on outgoing express shipments and address verification
  • Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor
  • Responsible to maintain quality assurances of all dispensings
  • Assist other areas of the pharmacy as needed daily
  • May assist in orienting and training new employees
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Attendance Requirements:

  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
  • Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field

Experience:

  • Preferred hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred

Special Conditions of Employment:

  • Drug test

Compensation:

$15.00 - $15.46 an hour

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
