CHAS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists in delivering patient-centered service in our community clinics. You will handle counter service, process payments at the POS, verify patient information, and help with insurance data and electronic health records.
You will also assist with medication deliveries, stock management, and maintaining safe storage conditions. A state Pharmacy Assistant Registration or eligibility is required, with a diploma preferred.

Purpose of Job: Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by assisting the Pharmacist in providing customer service to patients as follows:
Must be able to move around the facility between one-third and two-thirds of the day, as well as sit at a workstation and in patient rooms. Using hands occurs over two-thirds of the day, while reaching with arms occurs less than one-third of the day. Communicating is also required over two-thirds of the day, while climbing, stooping, or crawling is minimal. Lifting up to 10 lbs. occurs about half the time, while lifting between 25-40 pounds occurs one-third of the time. Rarely is there a need to life more than 41 pounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
