Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, located in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support daily operations in the pharmacy. You will handle refills, point-of-sale transactions, and patient inquiries under pharmacist supervision.

The role offers daily front-line interaction with patients and health care providers, with potential advancement to a Pharmacy Technician Training program and licensure by Spring 2028. Full-time Monday–Friday shifts on site at the South Lake Union Campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State of Washington Pharmacy Assistant License required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in person, on the phone, and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the pharmacy window and respond promptly to issues.
• Review patient tickets and update prescription statuses in the dispensing system.
• Dispense prescriptions and OTC medications or refer to a pharmacist as needed.
