Job summary
Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to join the team at the South Lake Union campus in Seattle. Under supervision of a pharmacist, you will handle medication prep, Pyxis Refill duties, EMR tasks and patient interactions in a fast-paced clinic setting.
The role requires a Washington pharmacy technician license, strong calculation skills, and experience with pharmacy software. This is a full-time position offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within
Qualifications
- Must have basic pharmaceutical calculations skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in person, on the phone and in writing.
- Familiar with generic drug names and indications.
- Experience with pharmacy computer systems and EMR.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, package and label medications accurately.
- Process prescriptions online including billing.
- Triage medication-related calls and messages.
- Maintain clinic floor stock and Pyxis stations.
- Inventory management and cycle counts.
- Assist pharmacist and train technicians/interns.
