Job summary

AndHealth seeks a Central Pharmacist to lead day-to-day operations of our Central Pharmacy team at the Columbus corporate office. You will deliver direct care, ensure accurate prescription data, and advance access for chronic-condition patients through prior authorizations and financial assistance programs.

You will work with cross-functional teams to implement SOPs, support expansion of our non-dispensing pharmacy, and ensure compliance with URAC and ACHC accreditation standards while traveling

Qualifications

• PharmD, BS in Pharmacy, or NABP FPGEC (FPGEC)
• Unrestricted pharmacist license in Ohio in good standing
• Willing to obtain licenses in multiple states
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR within 1 month of start
• 3+ years of direct patient care experience in pharmacy preferred
• Immunization delivery certification preferred
• 2+ years of specialty pharmacy experience preferred
• PGY1 residency or equivalent preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking
• Comfortable with technology and new systems
• Some travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care, therapeutic recommendations, and counseling for chronic conditions via management programs or agreements
• Verify prescription information for labels and third-party submissions; address complex adherence issues
• Support specialty pharmacy workflows by securing medication access through financial assistance and handling prior authorizations/appeals
• Review patient profiles for interactions, allergies, or duplications; recommend evidence-based adjustments
• Support 340B inventory management and on-site pharmacy operations including re-adjudication of claims
• Acquire and document information in specialty software to maintain URAC and ACHC accreditation
